commercial is my specialty

I cover the people who build things around here.

If you run a business with real tools, real workers, and real risk, I want to be the agent who understands all three. Not a web form. A real person who gets into the details and makes sure you are covered before something goes wrong.

who I work with

If your business does the work, I want to be your agent.

I came up through claims. I saw what happens when business owners find out, too late, that their policy did not cover what they thought it did. That is what I am trying to prevent: an operation that runs hard every day and then gets blindsided when something goes sideways.

I work with contractors and general builders, electricians and plumbers and HVAC crews, welders and fabrication shops, auto and truck services, transport operations, light manufacturers, ag operations, and retail and service businesses. Any operation where people show up and do real work.

what I write

The lines I work with most for commercial clients.

Every business is different. The right combination depends on what your operation actually does. Not sure which lines apply? That is exactly the conversation to have.

01

General Liability

Covers the third-party claims that come with being on a job: someone hurt, property damaged, the lawsuit that follows.

02

Business Owners Policy (BOP)

Property and liability bundled into one sensible policy, priced for small operations. A solid foundation for most small businesses.

03

Workers' Compensation

Takes care of your crew if they get hurt on the job, and keeps you square with Indiana requirements.

04

Professional Liability

Protection when the work itself is questioned: a mistake, an oversight, advice that did not land the way it was meant to.

05

Surety & Contract Bonds

The bonds you need to bid and win the work, handled without the runaround.

06

Commercial Property & Auto

The building, the tools, the trucks. The things your business runs on, covered.

All insurance policies contain exclusions, limitations, and conditions that determine coverage. The descriptions of coverage on this site are summaries only. Read your policy carefully and consult with your agent for full details.

A few of the carriers I place with

how I work

Multiple carriers. A real review. I actually show up.

Because I am an independent agent, I am not limited to what one company can offer. I shop multiple carriers and find the policy that fits your operation, not the one I happen to be able to sell.

i.

Multiple carriers, matched to you

No one company is right for every business. I work across multiple carriers and find the fit based on what you actually do and where you actually work.

ii.

Reviews as you grow

Added a truck. Took on a new contract. Hired your first crew. Those are the moments to revisit your coverage, and I stay in touch so nothing slips through.

iii.

In person and on site when it matters

Some risks are easier to understand in person. I will come out to the job site or the shop floor for an inspection when that is what it takes to get the coverage right.

iv.

A real person answers

When something happens and you need to move fast, you reach me. Not a queue, not a bot, not a number that goes to voicemail. A person who knows your file and picks up the phone.

why work with me

I will tell you the truth about your coverage.

You will never be shoehorned into a policy simply because that is the policy they are able to sell.

Insurance is not a click-to-buy-now type of purchase.

Robots and algorithms may be quick, but your peace of mind is not a variable in their quoting equation.

Mooresville is home. You always have a door to walk through.

You do not have to come to the office, but the option is always there. And when it matters, I will come to you: out to the job site for an inspection, or across the table to walk through a renewal. Local enough to know the area, close enough to actually show up.
